At Holmesville Playhouse Preschool, we work with local primary schools to ensure a smooth transition for children from preschool to school. We have established relationships with Barnsley, West Wallsend, and Edgeworth Heights Primary Schools, and we provide reports on each child’s progress and learning journey - as well as other private schools around the area.

Age Appropriate Groups for Socialisation & Suitable Learnings

We believe that every child deserves to be in an age-appropriate group where they can learn and grow with their peers. That’s why we’ve designed our program specifically for these age groups. Our two-year-old students are in their own class – the moonbeams. At the same time, our 3 to 4-year-olds are in the comets group. Finally, our 4 to 5-year-olds are in the stars group, which is a transition to a school-based program. Each group has its own specific curriculum and activities that are appropriate for their age and development level.
